Folks coming from the east to the Waukesha convention in August should know of this option in transportation. If you want hassle-free travel to Milwaukee for the 2005 ITC Convention in Waukesha, consider the Lake Express ferry. The ferry trip from Muskegon, Michigan to Milwaukee, Wisconsin only takes 2 hours. You can have your car on the ferry’s deck and enjoy a breakfast or lunch. The Michigan terminal is located at the Great Lakes Marina in Muskegon. Milwaukee’s terminal allows easy access to I-794, which is the direct route to I-94 and the hotel. Hotel Reservations for 2005 ITC Convention
It is highly recommended that you make your reservations at the Country Springs Hotel –Water Park-Conference Center as soon as you can. With the newly renovated hotel, rooms will be going quickly. The 45,000 square-ft. indoor Water Park will be quite the attraction. You will be able to enjoy the entertainment and hospitality options along with the convention. Make your reservations by phone only at (800) 247-6640. You will not be granted the special rate if you reserve via the Internet. Be sure to mention you are a member of the International Thunderbird Club.
