From the Desk of the Script Editor

The ITC Script Staff is currently in production for the March / April 2012 issue of the Script. The next deadline is February 15th 2012.

This a call to all Tech Writers * * * WE ARE ALWAYS LOW ON TECH ARTICLES * * * on file, please send me technical articles from all years of Thunderbirds. Also we need some newCenterfold Articles. I will be dropping an email to some of you requesting an article. So don't wait and start writing one now.

The March/April 2011 issue is in production. Please email your articles in Today! The next due date for the this issue is February 15th, 2012. Look for your copy the currect Script the week of February 1st 2012. Thank you for all the articles you provide. Even though I have to beg at times. ; ) Kathy

We would like to let the members know the deadline for submitting articles for the next issue of the Script isFebruaryl 15th, 2012. Please keep sending articles to Kathy Holton, Editor at editor@intl-tbirdclub.com. We still need members to send in photo's and an article for the Script Centerfold for future issues. We also need more articles for the upcoming issues. If you are interested in writing or having your car featured in the centerfold contact Kathy Holton and send in your story and photos.

Here are some guidelines for article size and photographs...

You want to write about 450 words to fill a page of the script. Less if you submit photos. Two and three page articles are just fine (more words can fit on the second and third pages). This is just to let you know what will fill my page. Please include your name - City, St. - e-mail - and ITC Chapter/Position (this is optional).

PLEASE do not format or use returns at the end of each line, unless you are ending a paragraph. I must take out all extra spaces tabs and returns to import into the Script Booklet. Trust in word wrap! It will work for me.

Please send me all photo's directly, as I am on broadband and my email can handle large files. My e-mail is editor@holtononline.com If the photos are from a digital camera, please take them at a high resolution (the higher, the better for print) and leave them full size. I will adjust to fit our format. If you scan a photo, please scan at 300 dpi and use a .tif format. You may also snail mail me a photo and I can scan it for you. Please send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope if you want this returned and I will do my best to return this photo to you promptly. If you have any technical questions about the formatting please e-mail me.
