2003 marked the 21st year of NASCAR Winston Cup competition for Mark Martin.
Born on January 9, 1959, in Batesville, Arkansas, the driver of the #6 Pfizer/Viagra Taurus is one of NASCAR’s most consistent drivers; he has finished second in the point standings four times, and was in the top six in points every year between 1989 and 2000. Mark is a 33-time Winston Cup winner, with his most recent win coming in the 2002 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. He has been one of the drivers most committed to Ford, having been behind the wheel of a Ford product every year since joining Roush Racing in 1989.
Mark has shown a high level of expertise on all types of tracks and is an accomplished road racer in particular; he won three straight races on the Watkins Glen road course (1993-95).
